PAPARAZZI 2026 Brings Student Creativity to the Stage

The latest edition of PAPARAZZI, WKWSCI's annual student-led theatre production, took to the stage this year with Late Company, Jordan Tannahill's acclaimed play exploring bullying, grief, accountability and forgiveness through the story of two families brought together by tragedy. Held on 12 July at The Play Den @ The Arts House, the production drew a strong response from audiences. 

Entirely led by students, the production saw them take charge of everything from directing and producing to publicity and performance. Months of planning, rehearsals and teamwork culminated in two performances after the first show sold out, allowing even more people to experience the production. 

For more than a decade, PAPARAZZI has given WKWSCI students a platform to explore theatre while gaining practical experience beyond the classroom. Along the way, students develop skills in leadership, teamwork and creative problem-solving while seeing a production through from the first rehearsal to the final performance. 

PAPARAZZI continues to be a space for students to challenge themselves, discover new strengths and tell meaningful stories through theatre. 

This year's production was supported by the National Youth Council through its Young Changemakers programme.
