The SPH Chinese Media Group president Lee Huay Leng has won an Outstanding Contribution award at the 11th Hsin Yun Outstanding Communication awards. It is the first time the awards is held in Singapore. There are two winners from Singapore. The Shin Min Daily News editor-in-chief Bernard Choo was awarded the Special Award. The other winners are from Taiwan. NTU emeritus professor Prof Eddie Kuo had won an award in 2011 for his overseas contributions.
