​Prof Eddie Kuo: Unique local Chinese culture will face challenges in shaping of the culture

At a seminar organised by the Goh Loo Club and Tan Kah Kee Foundation on August 3, NTU Emeritus Professor and SUSS academic advisor Prof Eddie Kuo described local Chinese culture as “rojak” – a mix of cultures shaped by old and new immigrants. He added that in order to keep Singapore’s Chinese culture unique and alive, Singapore needs to work hard to pass this culture down to future generations.
