The Straits Times, page D1

Faced with competition from newer and more modern shopping centres as well as e-commerce, malls such as Peninsula Shopping Centre and Far East Plaza have struggled to stay relevant in Singapore's fast-changing retail landscape. But these older shopping complexes are a part of the nation's heritage, said NTU Asst Prof Liew Kai Khiun and artist Shaiful Risan. They have curated a pop-up exhibition called The Mall Museum, documenting the sub-culture and architecture of strata-titled malls including Peninsula Shopping Centre, Excelsior Shopping Centre and Far East Plaza, with pictures by photographer Darren Soh.
