​Mechanisms in place to prevent stranger danger in location-sharing app Zenly

Commenting on a smart phone app which features location sharing and is popular among young children, NTU’s communications and information professor Dr Lee Kwan Min said consumers should be aware of the consequences of revealing their private data such as GPS information and contacts. He added that this is especially true for applications targeting minors and children.
