​Fans celebrate 25 years of Friends

The hit American sitcom Friends has stood the test of time, continuing to connect with audiences young and old 25 years later. Asst Prof Liew Kai Khiun from NTU’s WKWSCI, said the show is considered a classic for capturing and idealising the lifestyles of independent yuppies of the 1990s. Some aspects of Friends, however, have not aged well, he said.
