Sonia Rao is an accomplished leader in the tech industry, celebrated for her extraordinary leadership abilities and her talent for cultivating and empowering teams on a global scale. 

With a wealth of experience spanning various domains such as Operations, Engineering, and Partnership, she brings a diverse skill set to her role. Her comprehensive understanding of these areas allows her to navigate complex challenges with finesse, driving innovation and propelling organizations to new heights. 

One of Sonia’s standout qualities is her empathetic leadership style, that truly sets her apart. Her empathetic approach resonates deeply with those under her guidance, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and inspired. 

With a genuine dedication to mentorship and professional development, she has personally guided individuals (in the corporate and outside) on their path to success, encouraging them to push their boundaries and unlock their full potential. 

Sonia’s leadership acumen is at the forefront as she spearheads a global team. Currently, Sonia holds a leadership position as the Global Manager (Technical Partner Managers Signals & Measurement at Facebook Singapore) where she oversees a global team, leveraging her expertise to drive innovation and deliver exceptional results. 

Additionally, she is actively involved in supporting and championing women in the tech industry, as she co-leads a women employee resource group for career development at Facebook. Beyond this, she is also involved with numerous initiatives aimed at supporting women either in career growth or finance.  

Through these roles, she advocates for gender equality, creates opportunities for women to thrive, and promotes diversity and inclusion in the workplace. 

Sonia completed her Masters in Information Systems from NTU (Nanyang Technological University Singapore) and was the Recipient of Wee Kim Wee Legacy Fund Graduate Scholarship Award for her exceptional performance and leadership in the Masters program. 

Overall, Sonia's exceptional leadership skills, coupled with her commitment to empowering others and promoting diversity, make her a highly respected figure in the tech industry in Singapore. Her impactful contributions and dedication to fostering an inclusive and growth environment have set a remarkable example for aspiring leaders everywhere.

RAYMOND CHIN

Ray is currently one of the first creative leaders applying creativity and innovation into digital transformation for clients. He believes brand creativity should live beyond comms, across products, services and experiences. 

That’s why, in his previous senior capacities at Accenture Interactive/Droga5, and later on, at WundermanThompson,  he’s been exploring how brands can become more purposeful and meaningful across all touchpoints of a customer’s journey.

With over 20 years of experience, Ray has worked with clients such as Unilever, Nike, LVMH, Shiseido, Starbucks, Huawei, Citibank, Ferrari, Kimberly-Clark among others, cutting his teeth in some of the best agencies in the world, such as Wieden + Kennedy, JWT, TBWA and Fallon, always exploring new ways of storytelling and making experiences feel like magic.

In his previous tenures, he has won creative and effectiveness awards, transformed an agency to a “Great Place To Work” and Campaign’s Agency of the Year Best New Biz Team to boot. He was recognized for his efforts as one of Campaign Asia’s 40 under 40 and its Digital A-list 50. Ray is also an award jury member and speaker at SXSW, Unicorn Start-up Battles, Cannes, Spikes Asia, AME Effectiveness Awards, Busan Adstars, China Advertising Festival, and also guest lectures to students at Techcamp, HK Baptist University, HKPU and University of Gloucestershire.
