Since the establishment of NTU, School of Biological Sciences (SBS) in 2002, we have provided our students with cutting-edge global education in the biomedical and life sciences. Stimulating and challenging, our curriculum is designed to augment each student’s capabilities and prepare them for the demands of a career in the biomedical and healthcare industries. Supported by a diverse faculty with members from over 20 countries, our students will have access to broad global perspectives from experts in the field.

Read courses and/or work overseas

Exchange Programme

Overseas Exchange Programmes allow students to read courses and/or to work overseas. Earned academic units will be counted towards graduation requirements. The benefits of such programmes include the nourishment of the learning experience of students

Internship Opportunities

Internship offers them real world insights and exposure to the actual working life where they can hone their career-enhancing skills. Having an internship at a specific organization also offers students the opportunities to take up available positions directly after graduation.

Student Life

Founded in 2012, the Biological Sciences Club is run by a group of enthusiastic students. Bridging between the School and the student body, the Biological Sciences Club hosts annual events such as Exam Welfare Pack Giveaway, Freshmen Orientation Camp and also College of Science Day.

Meet Zac. "Keep your hopes up and dream big!" He likes how even the smallest scientific discoveries and data gathered help contribute to an even bigger discovery and believes that scientists can make the world a better place to live in.

Meet Kristy. She joined BSMCP as she saw value being well-versed in both Biology and Chemistry, and this unique programme helped her build a strong foundation in multi-disciplinary science.
