Our Division offers programmes at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels.

Regarded as one of the best in Asia, our business degree programme is widely known for its professional orientation and innovative curriculum. Our Division offers four specializations in Banking & Finance, International Trading, Actuarial Science, and Risk Analytics, with a diverse set of courses in investments, corporate finance, fintech, sustainable investing, commodities trading, supply chain finance, actuarial science, statistical modelling, risk analytics, risk management, etc. The Banking & Finance specialization programme is recognized as a CFA Programme Partner and a CAIA Academic Partner. The Actuarial Science programme is the only programme in Singapore that is accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) in the UK, and the only programme in Singapore recognized by the Society of Actuaries (SOA) in the US as a Centre of Actuarial Excellence. Our Division also offers a joint degree, Bachelor of Applied Computing in Finance, with the College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS).

The Division of Banking and Finance also offers graduate programmes, including doctoral programmes in finance, actuarial science, and insurance, a Master of Science in Finance (MSc - Finance), and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MFE). The MSc - Finance programme is conducted in both English and Chinese and has the option of allowing students to get two master’s degrees (one from NTU and another from Peking University). This programme is aimed at early- and mid-career executives who want to stand out and thrive in the rapidly growing and competitive finance sector in Asia. The MFE programme is offered in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University and is highly rigorous and prepares students for challenging jobs in areas such as risk management, structured products, quantitative asset management, quantitative trading, and quantitative research.
