The Division of Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIE) at Nanyang Business School is home to a dynamic and interdisciplinary community of scholars dedicated to understanding how firms compete, grow, and lead responsibly in an increasingly complex and digitally disrupted global environment. Our research spans a broad spectrum of topics, including competitive advantage, firm growth, organizational learning, innovation ecosystems, international expansion, entrepreneurial and social venture development, impact investing, and sustainability.

With a strong focus on ASEAN and other emerging markets, we explore how organizations respond to rapid change and uncertainty, create value through knowledge and innovation, and build capabilities for long-term, responsible growth. We are committed to producing rigorous and relevant scholarship that contributes to both academic theory and business practice.

We deliver core courses in strategy, international business, and entrepreneurship across undergraduate and graduate programs. We contribute to university-wide initiatives in sustainability, innovation, and enterprise, while expanding students’ global outlook through international exposure and experiential learning. Through close engagement with industry and academic partners, we develop leaders with the strategic insight, entrepreneurial mindset, and global vision needed to excel in today’s complex business landscape.
