Welcome to the Division of Accounting in Nanyang Business School (NBS). One of Asia’s top business schools, NBS is part of the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), which is a renowned research-intensive university.

We offer three programmes:

• Bachelor of Accountancy – the most established undergraduate accountancy programme  in Singapore, with a long history of preparing professional accountants for leadership roles

• MSc Accountancy - a rigorous graduate program that equips you with the holistic skill set to succeed in the fast-evolving accounting sector

• PhD – a top ranked doctoral program in Asia, based on journal publications by our graduates,  that trains you to conduct high quality research and teach accounting   

In terms of research, our faculty members are constantly raising the bar for accountancy knowledge and practice. Their research is presented at leading international conferences and published in top accounting journals, such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting and Economics, and Journal of Accounting Research. 

In addition, our members write thought leadership articles for various journals and the mass media, informing and influencing the accounting and business communities.  

They also engage with and serve on various high-level committees of governmental, professional, and business organisations, including the Accountant General Office, Public Transport Council, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and Singapore Institute of Directors.
