How S'pore went from 'wear a mask only if you are sick' to 'it is a must to wear masks' in 3 months

On Tuesday, Apr. 14, the government announced that it is now compulsory for everyone in Singapore to wear masks when they leave the house. A study conducted by two associate professors at NTU between Feb. 26 to Mar. 11 found that most residents in Singapore trusted government recommendations and directives on mask use. 58 per cent of respondents said they had not worn a face mask at all in the week preceding the survey.
