Overseas postings are also now nearly impossible, graduates such as NTU communications major Lo Hoi Ying, point out. "Prior to the pandemic, I was actively looking for overseas fellowships and jobs, but after countries started restricting tourist arrivals, I knew that I should focus on job searching in Singapore for the next two years at least," she said.
