Singapore's vaccination programme should keep an eye on vaccine hesitancy and misinformation, say four NTU WKWSCI researchers—Assoc Prof Edson C Tandoc Jr, Asst Prof Kim Hye Kyung, Asst Prof Edmund WJ Lee and Dr Zhang Hao Goh in a commentary. An online survey commissioned by WKWSCI days after PM Lee’s national speech on Dec 14 2020 involved 999 residents of which 55.3 per cent agreed or strongly agreed that they will get vaccinated as soon as the COVID-19 vaccine becomes available in Singapore. About 33.7 per cent neither agreed nor disagreed, while 10.9 per cent disagreed or strongly disagreed that they would get themselves vaccinated.
