In an International Women’s Day special, the Straits Times paid tribute to a number of modern woman, and featured her roles and pursuits. Among them included NTU's journalism and mass communication graduate Fiona Cher. Fiona writes a money blog (sgbudgetbabe.com) that weaves in stories about her own life. For example, she price-probed maternity hospitals when she was pregnant in 2018. Through the platform, readers get a glimpse into the life of a young working mother through how she saves and spends. As of mid-February this year, it has racked up more than nine million page views.
