Dr Lee Boon Ooi obtained his Ph.D. & B.A. from National University of Singapore, M.Sc. from McGill University, Canada, and M.A. from University of Keele, UK. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of St Luke’s ElderCare (SLEC) in August 2016. Leading in the areas of organisational development, healthcare management and education, he has steered SLEC to sustained growth in corporate strategy and development, operational excellence, service delivery and partnerships alliance. Under his leadership, SLEC’s foundation as a day care and rehabilitation provider has expanded to enrich more lives in the community, providing a full suite of community care services including home care, nursing care, a residential care facility and emerging active ageing hubs.

Dr Tew is a specialist doctor in Geriatric Medicine, specialising in clinical management of the elderly. Her areas of interest include community geriatrics, long term care, dementia and health professional education. Her current projects include evaluation of a hospital-based community nursing curriculum and development of a curriculum for long term care facility nursing.
