Nurturing Curious Minds: Approaches to Assessing and Enhancing Critical Thinking and Writing in Higher Education

On 13-14 June, colleagues gathered for a two-day symposium, Nurturing Curious Minds: Approaches to Assessing and Enhancing Critical Thinking and Writing in Higher Education. This hybrid symposium hosted speakers from around the world who aimed to better conceptualize and assess critical thinking, consider the impact of GenAI on critical thinking, and share research on student perceptions of critical thinking. The symposium was generously funded by the CoHASS Interdisciplinary Conference, Symposium and Workshop Scheme.
