Lohei and Lasting Connections: SoH Alumni Leaders at NTU Lunar New Year Reception 2026
The School of Humanities Alumni Association (SoHAA) Executive Committee was delighted to attend the Lunar New Year Reception, organised by the NTU Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) on 7 February 2026, at NTU@One-North. They were joined by Dr Sureenate Jaratjarungkiat, SoH Assistant Chair (Students), as well as alumni leaders from various NTU associations, including some from overseas, and Prof Boh Wai Fong, NTU Vice President (Lifelong Learning & Alumni Engagement).
Seated alongside alumni leaders from ADM and WKW, our committee enjoyed engaging conversations and networking opportunities with fellow alumni and NTU representatives. The reception provided a valuable platform to strengthen connections, share ideas, and explore ways to continue fostering alumni engagement across the University.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the event featured a lively lohei session, allowing everyone to soak in the Lunar New Year spirit while enjoying the traditional toss. The combination of meaningful conversations, partnership-building, and celebratory activities made the lunch reception a memorable start to the Lunar New Year and a reminder of the vibrant and connected NTU alumni community.
