Community Engagement Spotlight at South West: Festive Cheers 2026

The SoH Alumni Association successfully held the 4th run of our annual community project, Festive Cheers, on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2026, marking a meaningful milestone as we expanded our outreach from Boon Lay to a new community in Bukit Batok East. A total of 47 volunteers comprising SoH alumni, students, faculty, staff, as well as their family members and friends came together to pack and distribute welfare packs to 360 beneficiaries in the area. The morning began with volunteers working hand in hand to prepare the welfare packs before proceeding with door-to-door distribution, where they not only delivered essential items but also shared warm greetings and conversations with residents. The initiative once again demonstrated the strong spirit of service within the SoH community, bringing together different generations in a shared effort to give back and spread warmth to those around us.
