A Daughter Returns: SoH Alumna Jemimah Wei Visits Alma Mater for Launch of Debut Novel

NTU English welcomed back alumna Jemimah Wei for a book launch and reading of her debut novel 'The Original Daughter' on 21 August 2025. Held at Gaia LT2, more than 80 students and faculty members attended to listen to her sharing of her 10-year journey of creating and publishing a book.

Hosted by Assistant Professor Samuel Wee, the event started off with a reading of selected passages in the novel, before launching into a discussion on creative energy and publishing. The session ended off with a book signing segment.
