儒家薪火在南洋 Confucianism in Nanyang

The Nanyang Confucian Association in Singapore is a 109 year old Confucian organization that does research and education in Confucian studies. For more than a hundred years, this organization has grown with the tiny nation of Singapore through political and social changes, and has always adhered to its own cultural ideals and values. In the past ten years, under the leadership of President Guo Wenlong, the Nanyang Confucian Association has developed into one of the most active cultural groups in Singapore. Why does Confucianism have such lasting vitality in Singaporean society? What enlightenment and thinking can the development of the Nanyang Confucian Association provide us with?

新加坡南洋孔教会是一个具有109年历史的儒学团体。这一百多年来，它伴随着这个南洋小岛的时代变迁，历经风雨，但始终坚守着自己的文化理想和价值信念。近十多年来，在郭文龙会长的领导下，南洋孔教会已发展成为新加坡最活跃的民间文化团体之一。儒家思想为何在新加坡社会能具有如此持久的生命力？南洋孔教会的发展之路，可以为我们提供怎样的启示和思考？
