Identifying gas leaks and broken pipes with AI
A sensor network powered by an #artificialintelligence algorithm developed by scientists from NTU Singapore can accurately detect, in real-time, gas leaks and unwanted water seepage into gas pipeline networks.

REIDS Officially Inaugurates Platform with ENGIE APAC
ERI@N's is proud to announce that our Flagship Programme - Renewable Energy Integration Demonstrator - Singapore (REIDS) has officially inaugurated the REIDS-SPORE Platform with ENGIE APAC.
The partnership will see technologies and research efforts trialed on the living testbed and will be one of the microgrids managed by ERI@N researchers to integrate multiple energy sources to reduce Singapore's carbon footprint.
ERI@N Researchers Win the IES Prestigious Engineering Awards
ERI@N researchers working on the Solid State Transformers (SST) project were recently awarded with the 2020 IES Prestigious Engineering Achievement Awards!

ERI@N Researchers Win Nanyang Awards - NTU AV Bus Project
The ERI@N Future Mobility Solutions Team working on the NTU AV Bus have won the prestigious Nanyang Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship!
The innovation, software and technologies designed and developed by the team for the AV Bus have allowed them to convert the manually driven buses into a safe driverless vehicle.
ERI@N Directors Among SG's Highly Cited Researchers
For the third consecutive year, NTU Singapore has had the greatest number of highly cited researchers amongst institutions in Singapore. Among the 38 researchers are ERI@N's Executive Director Prof Subodh Mhaisalkar, and Cluster Directors Dusit Niyato, Nripan Mathews, Madhavi Srinivasan, Xu Rong, Sum Tze Chien, Shen Zexiang, Chen Xiaodong and Yan Qingyu.
