Course Exemptions
Freshmen Course Exemptions
Students with qualifications such as the A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, NUS High School Diploma, or Polytechnic diplomas may be eligible for exemption from relevant Accountancy or Business core courses. Eligibility is assessed based on the criteria outlined in Annex A (Revised on 27 June 2025).
At NBS, course exemptions are considered based on the entire programme students have completed prior to joining NTU, not on a course-by-course basis.
Please note that course exemptions are not granted automatically. Therefore, should you wish to apply for course exemption and meet the eligibility, you may write to NBS Student Administration at nbs-studentadmin@ntu.edu.sg by providing the necessary supporting documents.
Applications must be submitted before the end of Teaching Week 2 (TW2) of Semester 1. Late submissions will not be accepted.
