​How to make Singapore smile for the facial recognition camera

In a commentary, NTU WKWSCI principal lecturer Dr Mark Cenite wrote about the global debate on facial recognition technology, and how adopting the technology along with regulation to maintain public trust is the smarter approach for Singapore. Harnessing technological potential – without alienating people or depriving them of their rights – requires developing regulations along with the technology, he added.
