Every Event, Publication and Achievement Tells a Story at SSS@NTU

From academic events and research publications to media features and scholarly achievements, your work contributes to SSS's academic and research profile.

Organising a conference or seminar? Published a book or journal article? Featured in the media or received an award?

Share your updates with SSS Communications and help us showcase your work to the wider NTU community and beyond.

Explore the guidelines below to find out what you can share, where your work may be featured and how to submit your updates.

We encourage Programmes, Research Clusters, Research Units and faculty members to share updates on activities, publications and achievements, including:

  • Programme-Level Events & Activities – Seminars, workshops, guest lectures, conferences, dialogues and student engagement initiatives.

  • Co-hosted Events & External Collaborations – Events, partnerships and joint initiatives organised with external institutions, industry partners and community organisations.

  • Books & Book Chapters – Newly published books and scholarly contributions.

  • Journal Articles & Conference Papers – Recent academic publications and conference presentations.

  • Research Findings & Scholarly Contributions – Significant research developments, findings and insights.

  • Commentaries & Media Features – Published opinion pieces, expert commentaries, interviews and media coverage.

  • Awards & Achievements – Research awards, recognitions, grants and significant academic milestones.

At SSS, we have a dedicated Research Publications section on our website, featuring faculty contributions across books and book chapters, journal articles and conference papers.

While faculty publications may already be deposited in the University's digital repository, DR-NTU, we encourage colleagues to also share their latest works with SSS Communications.

This provides an additional opportunity to showcase faculty research on the SSS website and social media platforms, extending its visibility beyond academic repositories to the wider NTU community, industry partners and external audiences.

Programmes and Research Units are welcome to develop their own publicity creatives. To maintain a consistent School identity, please observe the following requirements:

Publicity Inside SHHK Lifts

  • A total of 10 A3 poster inserts, shared between SSS and SoH, are available inside the SHHK lifts for event publicity.

  • Organisers may prepare A3-sized portrait posters for display in these designated inserts.

  • Poster Replacement & Removal: Please do not remove or replace posters for events that have yet to take place. Organisers should also remove their posters promptly after their events.

  • Poster Placement: To maintain a neat and welcoming environment, please avoid excessive poster displays around the building, particularly outside the lifts on each floor. Organisers are encouraged to use the designated lift poster inserts and the various School publicity platforms to maximise event visibility.
