A/P I Lo-Fen awarded the John Cheung Social Media Award 2023

Associate Professor I Lo-Fen (NTU Chinese) has been awarded the John Cheung Social Media Award 2023 for exemplary and innovative use of social media in teaching.

Prof I has been a university educator since 1990. She started incorporating social media tools into her teaching in 2011, through various lessons and assessments. Since then, she has interacted with over 1,000 students through social media.

The John Cheung Social Media Award recognises the exemplary and innovative use of social media by faculty members in their teaching practices. Candidates for the award are nominated by the respective Schools/College and are awarded by a judging panel comprised of faculty members from TEA, staff from CTLP and CITS, as well as Undergraduate and Graduate Student Representatives.
