Event write-upGuo Pu treated the strange things in the "Shan hai jing" with a Taoist's cognitive approach and a historian's attitude. And he convinced those fantastic records without a shadow of doubt. He not only annotated "Shan hai jing", but also made praise for its figure. His "Shan hai jing tuzan" showed rich connotation: advocating singular aesthetic mentality, longing for the immortal world, the dialectical thinking of metaphysics, the Confucian thought, historical consciousness. "Shan hai jing tuzan" has its own unigue artistic style: describe highlight features, the language is simple and gorgeous, expressing thoughts and feeling is conveyed through image, arguments are both emotional and reasonable.
