Dr Chua Fengyi, Deborah co-publishes NIE Working Paper Series No. 24

Dr Chua Fengyi, Deborah, Research Fellow at the Office of Education Research (OER), co-wrote the NIE Working Paper Series No. 24 titled “Contexts of Learning: The Role of Contexts and Agency in Education”, alongside Associate Professor Mark Baildon (former Associate Dean at OER). This issue of the Working Paper Series explores both theoretical work to ground the understanding of contexts and agency, as well as on studies from Singapore (where possible), Asia and other parts of the world to illustrate theoretical perspectives such as having a set of general principles on the way contexts shape teaching and learning and the way agency is exercisable to (re)shape contexts imaginatively, purposively and creatively.
