Interdisciplinary Common Core (ICC) curriculum

The programme is designed to provide a comprehensive education and create diverse opportunities that harness students' talents, nurturing graduates without boundaries.

The Interdisciplinary Common Core (ICC) curriculum enhances teaching outcomes and prepares our students for lifelong learning. The ICC curriculum consists of:
  • Interdisciplinary Collaborative Core (ICC): approximately 25%
  • Major Requirements (Core and Major Prescribed Electives): approximately 60%
  • Broadening and Deepening Electives (BDE): approximately 15%

Duration

The Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) with Second Major in Sustainability is a four-year, full-time direct honours programme.


Second Major in Sustainability

In addition to the Core Programme Requirements, students must complete at least 30 AUs, which include 5 compulsory courses (one from each knowledge area: People, Planet, Profit, Practice, and Policy), elective courses, and an interdisciplinary project.
