Our Programmes
Explore an exciting array of specialisations and programmes offered by the Finance Division, spanning undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.
In the Bachelor of Business programme, our Division offers four specialisations: Finance, Actuarial Data Science, International Trading, and Risk Analytics. Among these, Finance is the most popular undergraduate specialisation in the School. This programme is recognized as both a CFA Programme Partner and a CAIA Academic Partner. The Actuarial Data Science programme stands out as the only one in Singapore accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) in the UK, and the only programme recognized as a Centre of Actuarial Excellence by the US-based Society of Actuaries (SOA). In addition, the Division offers the Bachelor of Applied Computing in Finance, a unique joint degree developed in collaboration with the College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS).
Our Division also offers three leading master’s programmes in finance, each designed to meet the evolving needs of professionals in the financial sector. The Master of Science in Finance (MSF), offered in both English and Chinese, is tailored for early- and mid-career executives seeking to excel in Asia’s fast-growing and competitive finance industry. The Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MFE) is a rigorous programme delivered in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, to prepare students for roles in quantitative asset management, structured products, quantitative research, and risk management. The Master of Science in Asset and Wealth Management (MAWM), developed jointly with the Wealth Management Institute (WMI), features a curriculum aligned with the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) skills frameworks. Combining WMI’s strong industry connections and NTU’s academic excellence and top-ranked global reputation, the MAWM is a premier choice for training wealth management professionals.
Finally, NBS offers a PhD programme with a specialisation in Finance. Our doctoral students receive rigorous academic training and work closely with our faculty, equipping them for placement at top research-oriented institutions.

Many courses will involve industry practitioners, providing students with direct exposure to current industry practices. Full scholarships will also be available to qualifying students through the Centre of Excellence in International Trading (CEIT).
The new Market Intelligence Hub
In 2026, a new Market Intelligence Hub has been launched at Level 1 of Wee Cho Yaw Plaza, providing the NBS community with much easier access to Bloomberg terminals and professional financial data and analytics.
More to Come
We will continue to refresh our curriculum and expand opportunities for industry-partnered learning, ensuring that our students are well prepared for the changing world of finance.
