NTU Creative Writers Make Their Mark: Featured on Uniqlo T-Shirts in NLB Collaboration

Designs are inspired by Singapore Literature (Sing Lit) titles.

The National Library Board (NLB) and international fashion retailer Uniqlo teamed up to promote Singapore Literature and celebrate our vibrant literary scene. T-shirt designs inspired by Sing Lit books are available for sale at the Uniqlo Orchard Central flagship store, and will be made available to selected outlets after.

We are gratified to have our local writers be part of the collaboration. Out of the four books selected, three are affiliated with NTU Humanities’ Creative Writing programme.

The Sing Lit titles are:

  1. The Angel Tiger and Other Stories by Assoc Prof Barrie Sherwood, NTU School of Humanities
  2. The Gatekeeper by Nuraliah Norasid, Ph.D., Lecturer, LCC, NTU School of Humanities
  3. Sugarbread by Balli Kaur Jaswal, Ph.D., Former Writer-in-residence, NTU School of Humanities

You can now find these exclusive t-shirt designs at the Uniqlo Orchard Central flagship store, with plans to expand to selected outlets soon. Pick up a shirt or two to show your support!

The books are also available at the Public Libraries.
