Awards | Hallam Stevens (History) and Monamie Haines (Sociology) wins prize for pandemic commentary

The commentary was titled 'Wearables and privacy'.

Associate Professor Hallam Stevens (Head, History) and Assistant Professor Monamie Bhadra Haines (SSS – Sociology) have been selected the winner for the Inaugural SOAP Awards in the Best Commentary category – June 2020.

The co-written commentary titled "Wearables and privacy" was featured on Academia.SG on 16 June 2020.

The judging panel consisted of representatives from various media organisations in Singapore and Chairman of the judging panel Mr Han Fook Kwang.

The Stories of a Pandemic (SOAP) Awards, organised by The Majurity Trust (majurity.sg) recognises outstanding works that chronicle our collective experience and events during this Covid-19 crisis in Singapore.
