Kaorapapong Chanya
Graduated in 2016

Chanya joined the Mathematics and Economics program in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in 2012.

She is not only an outstanding scholar but also an active volunteer to the community. Having benefitted a lot from the society, she is determined to contribute back meaningfully.

It is with this belief that education is the root for development that Chanya decided to go on an adventure at the border of Thailand & Myanmar to teach the children who do not receive formal education.

Tay Wee Shan
Graduated in 2016

Wee Shan, a third year Nanyang Scholar in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry program is an active member in the NTU Cultural Activities Club and also the Honorary General Secretary in the Dancesport academy.

Having a great desire to share and help people, Wee Shan had been a peer mentor since JC and is currently a Leadership Trainer for primary and secondary school students.

Continuing the spirit of sharing, Wee Shan has the urge to spark the interest for science in primary school students. Wee Shan plans to run a science camp involving her alma mater, VJC. She hopes that her juniors will carry on this initiative and further inspire the next group of juniors.

Yvonne Lim Xinyi
Graduated in 2016

Lim Seok Ting
Graduated in 2016

Currently in their third year of study in Biological Science, Yvonne and Seok Ting are also in the pioneer batch of integrated program that College of Science started. In additional to their outstanding academic performance, both of them participated actively in student activities and community service.

Their aspiration is to raise awareness of the situation faced by foreign workers in Singapore who are often overlooked by the society, starting right on campus. The aim of this project is to provide welfare to foreign workers in NTU to show our appreciation to them for making NTU a better campus.
