Winners of the MSE Research Excellence Award

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Dr. Sabba Dharani, Dr. Huang Jingfeng and Dr. Wang Xu for winning the Research Excellence Award in the MSE Postgraduate Awards 2015. They received a Certificate of Achievement each from Professor Subbu during the convocation last Tuesday.  

 

Dr. Sabba Dharani was supervised by Prof. Subodh Mhaisalkar and her thesis title is ‘Investigation of Charge Transport in Nanofiber based Dye-sensitized Solar Cells’. Dr. Huang Jingfeng was supervised by A/P Alfred Tok and his thesis title is ‘Ultra-Sensitive Carbon Based Molecular Sensors’. Dr. Wang Xu was supervised by A/P Lee Pooi See and his thesis title is ‘Metal Oxide/Hydroxide and their Composite Materials for Supercapacitor Application’.

 

The recipients of the award were selected based on their thesis quality in terms of publications and impact to the research area they are working in. The award is given as a form of recognition to PhD students who have performed outstanding research during their graduate studies.
