About the 2019 Doctoral College Conference “Bridging the Gap”
The event showcased the many ways in which PhD students were breaking new ground with their research. “Bridging the Gap” is a highly competitive conference - out of over 300 applicants, only 16 were selected. Selected PhD students could be challenging a research paradigm, trying a new methodology, or exploring a new subject area. The conference brought together researchers from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, through themed presentations and supporting events.
