We are pleased to announce that Mr Lim Zhi Wei, PhD student of Associate Professor Ali Gilles Tchenguise Miserez, has won the Best Poster Award at the 3rd Peptides and Proteins Symposium Singapore. His research topic is entitled “pH & Glucose Responsive Coacervates for Insulin Therapy”. Zhi Wei’s work highlights a methodology of insulin release only in response to high glucose concentration, which greatly reduces complications from insulin overdose.
About the 3rd Peptides and Proteins Symposium Singapore
The 3rd Peptides and Proteins Symposium Singapore covers all fields of peptide and protein science, including discovery, design, advances in peptide synthesis, peptide therapeutics, antibody/nanobody diagnostics, pharmacology and drug delivery, and stapled peptides. This symposium provides a great opportunity for delegates to expose their research, learn about other exciting developments in the field, and exchange new ideas in application research face to face.
Our heartiest congratulations to Zhi Wei!
