Nanyang Awards 2020 - Winners from MSE

We are proud to announce that the following MSE faculty members have been awarded the prestigious Nanyang Awards 2020. 

Nanyang Research Award (Young Investigator)
Associate Professor Nripan Mathews was awarded the Nanyang Research Award (Young Investigator). Assoc Prof Mathews’ work focuses on: a) halide perovskite solar cells and LEDS; and b) novel next-generation electronic devices. His work is multidisciplinary in nature, treading the spectrum of new materials development, fundamental optical and electronic exploration of these materials, and finally, their employment in practical electronic devices.

The Nanyang Research Award (Young Investigator) gives the highest recognition to individuals or teams, under the age of 39, who have made outstanding contributions in extending the frontiers of knowledge.

Nanyang Education Award (College)

The Nanyang Education Award is the highest honour conferred by the University to faculty members for teaching. The Award recognises the dedication and achievements of faculty members who demonstrate outstanding, innovative teaching, and enrich the learning experiences of NTU undergraduates and NIE Trainee Teachers. These Award recipients inspire students through their deep passion to teach well and their genuine concern for their students’ learning.
