"Decarbonathon” Competition 2016 - Top 16 Finalist

Decarbonathon is an international competition created at the initiative of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum, which aims to develop innovations that mitigate CO2 emissions arising from cities in order to fight global warming. Competed against 235 teams from 67 different countries and attended a Hackathon and final presentation in Paris, Team One-Way is selected as the top 16 finalist with a proposed solution of “ZOLAR”, a walkway that generates electricity by utilizing the piezoelectric and solar cell technology.
