Best Poster Award at the 2nd Workshop on the Chemistry of Energy Conversion - Leow Wan Ru
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Ms Leow Wan Ru, who is a PhD student of A/P Chen Xiaodong, for winning the Best Poster Award at the 2nd Workshop on the Chemistry of Energy Conversion. This workshop is organized by the Institute of Advanced Studies from 23 – 24 May 2016 at NTU. Wan Ru’s poster is entitled, “Al2O3 Surface Complexation for Photocatalytic Organic Transformations”.
About the workshop
Jointly organized by the Institute of Advanced Studies and the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, the workshop aims to create dialogues and facilitate collaborations amongst scientists in the field of energy conversion, with the ultimate goal of realizing breakthroughs in materials design for energy conversion. The workshop will bring the expertise of energy conversion to the doorsteps of the materials research community in Singapore, and also provide a platform for participants to meet, network, and exchange information about recent findings on advanced materials.
