​Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award - Prof Chen Xiaodong

We are delighted to share that Professor Chen Xiaodong has been elected the recipient of the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award, by the Humboldt Foundation. This award is conferred in recognition of lifetime achievements in research. Award winners are honoured for their outstanding research and are anticipated to continue to produce cutting-edge achievements with influence beyond their immediate field of work. Additionally, award winners are also invited to carry out research projects with colleagues at a research institution in Germany.
