Role of MSE student ambassadors

  • Represent MSE in selected events for prospective/pre-university students such as NTU Open House, JC or polytechnic career/education fairs, MSE talks
  • Assist in engaging prospective students through various platforms as resource speaker or work behind the scenes
  • Lead or participate in developing fun and informative materials engineering related activities

  • Build your sense of belonging to the School as you make a difference to your juniors
  • Develop valuable competencies such as communication skills, planning and execution, and working in teams
  • Network with faculty, staff, fellow students, alumni and people from JCs and polytechnics

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in a MSE programme
  • Have good academic standing
  • Genuinely interested in sharing about the field of Materials Engineering to pre-university students
  • Highly motivated, energetic, dependable

 

FAQ

No. Students can opt to participate in events depending on their availability. The events will be announced through email. 
Not all activities will be paid under WSS. This will be indicated in the announcement.
Students will be in the programme until they graduate or when notice is given to Office of Associate Chair (Students) of intention to withdraw.
