Profile of the ideal PhD candidate
Our training focuses on developing students to produce quality research and obtain placement as tenure-track faculty at very high research-active universities.
Since research requires strong analytical skills, we look for complete and competitive candidates with a specific focus on the ability to conduct, analyse, write, and present complex concepts and ideas.
Our PhD Programme candidates are expected to have clear research interests and goals. You are required to demonstrate specific understanding on the department’s specialisation, expertise of our faculty, and knowledge of our current research. We also require you to have a satisfactory level of English proficiency.
