Application Requirement

Note: 

  1. Applicants with strong professional experience may be considered for a waiver of the Executive Assessment (EA). Candidates with 8 years of work experience or more are eligible to apply. Subject to approval. 

  2. Applicants whose undergraduate studies were not conducted in English must submit a TOEFL iBT (≥100) or IELTS (≥6.5) score and meet the English proficiency required by MOET in Vietnam.

We accept these online tests if they are taken no later than 31 December 2023:

Note: 

  • Fees indicated exclude prevailing GST of Singapore but include applicable taxes in Vietnam (if applicable).
  • Fees are subjected to revision at the discretion of the University.
  • Tuition fee includes course materials and e-resources. The cost of travel, accommodation, and miscellaneous expenses are not included and are to be borne by the participant.
  • The enrolment fee is payable upon acceptance of the offer, non-refundable, and non-transferable. It will be deducted from the total tuition fee.
  • The awarded scholarship will be deducted from the last instalment.

Note: Only completed applications received before the deadline will be assessed. An application is considered complete when we have received all supporting documents, information and application fee.

Any false or inaccurate information submitted by you to the University or omission of material information will render your application invalid. Students admitted on the basis of such information may be subject to disciplinary actions, which could lead to termination of candidature by the University

Fill in the application form and upload the following supporting documents:

1. CV or Resume

  • Maximum three pages.
  • Briefly describe your responsibilities and accomplishments.

2. Educational Documents

  • Degree scroll/certificate(s) and academic transcripts for each university attended.
  • Official English translation is required for non-English documents.

3. Scanned Copy of Passport

  • High-resolution JPEG format.

4. Passport Photo

  • File size: ~100kB
  • Size: 35mm x 45mm (no border, taken within 3 months)
  • Full face, no headgear (unless for religious/customary reasons)
  • Face height: 25–35mm (chin to crown)
  • Coloured photo, plain white background, matt or semi-matt finish
  • No shadows in background

5. NTU Executive Assessment (EA) Score Report

  • You may upload your unofficial or test-taker copy if the official score is not yet available.
  • Arrange for your official test scores to be sent directly to Nanyang Business School.
  • Applicants who have yet to take the EA or TOEFL/IELTS may still submit their application and indicate their scheduled test dates.

6. TOEFL or IELTS Score Report

  • Required if English was not the medium of instruction at the tertiary level.
  • Minimum scores: TOEFL iBT ≥ 100 or IELTS ≥ 6.5

7. Referee Reports

  • Nominate two referees in the online application form.
  • An online referee report form will be automatically sent to them for completion.

8. Three (3) Essays

  • Follow the instructions on the application portal.

9. Professional Membership Certificates (if any)

After your application has been assessed, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

  • The interview is by invitation only, you will be notified via email if selected.
  • Announcements of shortlisted candidates will be made after each application round deadline.

This is not a one-time process; additional announcements may be made as needed. In some cases, interviews may take place during the application round itself.

Candidates who have completed the interview will proceed to the final selection stage.

  • The Admissions Committee will review and deliberate before making final admission decisions.
  • Successful candidates will receive an official offer via email from the Admissions Office.
  • Applicants are encouraged to check their application status through the online application system here

Please note that: 

  • Only successful applicants will be notified.
  • The Admissions Office is unable to release information via phone.

If you receive an admission offer via email, you must accept the offer within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Failure to do so will result in the offer lapsing automatically.
  • Acceptance must be accompanied by a non-refundable enrolment fee of S$3,000, which will be deducted from the total tuition fees payable

Why take the Executive Assessment?

The Executive Assessment (EA) is a standardised test introduced in 2016 by Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) for the more experienced candidates in mind.

 We understand that as a busy working professional, you are juggling career, family, and other commitments at the same time, leaving you very little time to prepare for a test. That is why the EA is designed to assess the core skills and aptitude that you have gained from your professional experience required to excel in the NTU IMBA programme.

 Through the process of preparing and taking the test, you are ready for the rigour of the classroom. It also signals that you value learning and acquiring new skills, which are important indicators to the school of your commitment and readiness for the programme.

Preparing for the Executive Assessment

The EA evaluates you on higher-order reasoning via three sections:

  1. Integrated Reasoning
  2.  Verbal Reasoning
  3. Quantitative Reasoning

 The EA is a highly valid and reliable test, with higher relevance to real-world skills, resulting in the quality of the cohort maintained.
