Biography
Adjunct Associate Professor Jean Teo has been a faculty member at Nanyang Technological University since 2022, bringing over 25 years of experience in commodities supply and trading.
She is currently Managing Director of MB Energy Singapore. Her prior roles include Commercial Director at Apical, Chief Operating Officer at China Aviation Oil, and senior trading positions at Cargill and BP.

Jean holds a Master in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, and an MBA (Finance) from Manchester Business School.
She is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and serves as a mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre and the Consumers Association of Singapore.
Her teaching focuses on supply and trading, as well as strategy in the energy and agriculture sectors, across both postgraduate and undergraduate programmes.
