SoH at the NTU Open House 2024

The NTU Open House was held on 2 March 2024 at the Nanyang Auditorium with much fanfare. As the biggest event on the NTU outreach calendar each year, the School of Humanities took part by having presence at a school booth and 7 talk sessions.

Each subject are was represented by a booth, with an introductory poster and at least 5 student ambassadors ready to help any prospective student and/or their parent in learning more about the discipline, as well as answering questions about the programme structure, career prospects and more. Faculty members from each subject area also enthusiastically showed up to share about the programme’s expertise.

We will like to thank NTU senior management Deputy President and Provost, Professor Ling San, as well as President Professor Ho Teck Hua who showed up to support our outreach activities.

Over the course of the day, there were also SoH lectures held at LT1 and LT19, where faculty members went through a demo lecture designed to let prospective students and their parents understand what a university-level lecture for the subject is like.
