Recognising Excellence: Asst Prof Emma Flatt Wins Nanyang Education Award (School) 2024

Congratulations to Assoc Professor Emma Flatt (History) for receiving the prestigious Nanyang Education Award (School) 2024!

A historian of early modern South Asia, A/P Flatt’s research on courtly knowledge, material culture, and the politics of expertise informs her immersive, archive-based teaching that brings historical scholarship vividly into the classroom.

The Nanyang Education Award is the highest honour conferred by the University to faculty members in the field of teaching. The Award recognises the dedication and achievements of faculty members who display excellent teaching practices and who enrich the learning experiences of NTU undergraduate/graduate students through their deep passion and genuine concern for their students.
