Introducing the Humanities Experience at NTU CoHASS Early Admissions and Scholarship Engagement (EASE) Session 2026

On Saturday, 10 January 2026, the School of Humanities took part in the NTU College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS) Early Admissions and Scholarship Engagement Session, held at Summit 2 of the Suntec Convention Centre.

More than 200 invited students from Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, and tertiary institutions across Singapore attended the session to learn more about the undergraduate programmes offered by the four schools. Admissions and scholarship officers were also present to provide an overview of the application processes to prospective students and their parents.

The event began with a welcome address by CoHASS Dean Professor Jon Wilson, followed by a panel discussion featuring student leaders from each school, who shared their experiences of student life at NTU. Invitees then broke into smaller groups for breakout sessions, where each school presented more in-depth insights into their respective undergraduate programmes.

The session also featured Assistant Professor Luke Lu, Assistant Chair (Academics), who provided an overview of the Bachelor of Arts programmes and the academic resources available at the School of Humanities.

The School of Humanities hosted six booths representing its core disciplines—Art History, Chinese, English, History, Linguistics and Multilingual Studies, and Philosophy. Student Ambassadors and Faculty Members were on hand to showcase our programmes and engage with prospective students by answering their questions.
