Inspiring Future Thinkers: SoH at NTU Open House 2026
On 28 February 2026, the School of Humanities proudly participated in the annual NTU Open House 2026, welcoming prospective students and their families as they explored opportunities to pursue their undergraduate education at Nanyang Technological University.
A key highlight in the School’s annual outreach calendar, SoH presented vibrant exhibition booths showcasing its Bachelor of Arts (Hons) programmes across its core disciplines: Art History, Chinese, English, History, Linguistics and Multilingual Studies, and Philosophy. Faculty members conducted engaging mini lectures, offering prospective students a glimpse into the diverse range of courses and the intellectual journey that awaits them as humanities undergraduates.
Our student ambassadors and faculty members were out in full force on Saturday, speaking with more than 2,000 prospective students and their family members. Through these conversations, they shared insights into the value of a humanities education and what makes NTU Humanities a distinctive and compelling choice.
In addition to the main School display at Nanyang Auditorium Level 3, SoH also hosted satellite booths outside Lecture Theatre 19A. There, student ambassadors enthusiastically connected with visitors, sharing their personal undergraduate experiences and answering questions about academic life, campus culture, and opportunities beyond the classroom.
The School of Humanities extends its heartfelt thanks to all faculty members, student ambassadors, staff, and visitors who contributed to the success of the event. We look forward to welcoming the next generation of humanities students to our vibrant community.
