From Innovation to Impact: Ms Li Shu Yun Awarded Prestigious Nanyang Humanitarian Award 2024

Our heartiest congratulations to Ms Li Shu Yun (Language and Communication Centre) for being decorated with the Nanyang Award for Humanitarian Work 2024!
Ms Li Shu Yun joined NTU in 1994 as a Communication Skills Lecturer in the then School of Civil and Structural Engineering. Now she is a Lecturer at the Language and Communication Centre, School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She received her B.A. in English Literature, M.A. in Applied Lingustics (NanKai) and MED in Curriculum Design and Instruction (Queen's).
Ms Li has made significant contributions to language education and academic communication, supporting diverse learner communities and promoting inclusive education. Her outreach work exemplifies how academic expertise can empower lives beyond the classroom.
Established in 2005, the Nanyang Awards honor and celebrate the exceptional accomplishments and contributions of faculty, staff, and students in various fields, including Humanitarian Work, and Education.
