ELAH Student Bryen Chen Wins Two Categories: Art History & Theory and Literature in Global Undergraduate Awards 2025

We are happy to share that Bryen Isaac Chen Tze-Yang, from the ELAH Class of 2025, has been awarded the Global Winner in two categories: Art History and Theory, and Literature, in the Global Undergraduate Awards 2025

Bryen's submission for the Literature category was an abridged version of his final-year thesis entitled, "Trauma Playgrounds: Ludic Experiments and Formal Techniques in Traumatic Childhood Fiction", which was supervised by Associate Professor W. Michelle Wang.

His submission for the Art History and Theory category was a paper on "The Intimate/Inanimate: Locating Love Beyond the Human", which was supervised by Assistant Professor Roger Nelson.
